HELP4WV is an accredited 24/7 helpline in West Virginia. Individuals who are in crisis with mental health or addiction can call, chat or text to reach trained peer support or recovery coaches. The helpline offers resources for accessing self-help groups, counseling services, residential treatment, medication-assisted treatment, and emergency care.
West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network
The West Virginia Collegiate Recovery Network offers peer recovery and other support to students at nine universities and colleges in the state. They provide individual and group support, naloxone and overdose prevention training, prescription medication disposal bags, fentanyl test strips, and more. IHS – Treatment Locator
The Indian Health Service’s Alcohol and Substance Abuse Branch provides American Indians and Alaska Natives with programs to combat alcohol and substance use disorder. These programs include preventive services and education along with crisis support and outpatient and inpatient addiction treatment. Many programs are Tribally operated and some are available through telehealth.
