Iowa’s only federally recognized Indian tribe, the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi, is known as the Meskwaki Nation. Meskwaki’s Behavioral Health Services provides mental health and substance use treatment to all ages. They offer screenings outpatient care and referrals to higher levels of care if needed. They also have culturally sensitive prevention activities for the community.
