About The 218 Club

The 218 Club in Green Bay, Wisconsin is part of the Alcoholics Anonymous organization. They offer a welcoming space for recovery group meetings.

AA Meetings in Green Bay

Their primary service is hosting support group meetings. Meetings are offered at various times so you can always find one that fits in your schedule. I noticed that some of their meetings are even gender or age specific which I think is helpful to address the unique challenges that you face.

You’ll also find other kinds of special interest meetings that might include meetings in languages other than English, meetings for veterans and military families, meetings for teens and loved ones affected by addiction within the family and meetings for members of the LGBTQ+ community.

I also like that they also provide resources for newcomers to help them take their first steps in their recovery journey. Newcomers get access to literature and workbooks to teach them about the process of getting sober. They also will get to choose a sponsor and access peer coaching when they need it.

One reviewer expressed their gratitude for the love and support they received from their group which helped them achieve long term sobriety.

Hotline and Community Events

They have a 24 hour hotline for people who are in crisis or just want to know more about the program . It’s staffed by volunteers and is free like all of AA’s services..

This Club also organizes events and workshops to raise community awareness and offer fellowship to those affected by addiction..

I think it’s great that they offer their services for free. This makes their programs more accessible for everyone regardless of their financial status.
