About ReDiscover’s Woodland Office
ReDiscover is a nonprofit community mental health center with locations across Missouri. Their Woodland location is in Kansas City located in a historic brick church. Here they provide comprehensive programs and services for clients of all ages who have been affected by substance use or mental illness. Many of their clients are women with children. ReDiscover is accredited by CARF.
They work with clients who don't have insurance and have limited financial means. They offer payment plans as well as a sliding scale discount for all clients who are uninsured. You can complete an application to find out what you'll be expected to pay.
ReDiscover provides residential treatment for men and women over 18 so that they can rebuild their lives.
They provide the tools necessary to prevent relapse and improve the health and wellness of their clients. In residential treatment, you'll get access to individual and group counseling, meals, transportation, psychiatric services and case management. You'll live in a safe and substance-free residence with 24-hour staffing.
This location also offers day treatment for clients who live off site. You might choose to live at one of their other residential housing, such as Catherine’s Place, which services women and children. Or, you may choose to live at home and come in daily for treatment.
ReDiscover encourages clients to attend Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings in the community. The youth center Front Porch Alliance is also close by, which can help you out with basic needs.
Once you complete your treatment, ReDiscover also offers aftercare programming. This will help you transition back into the community while still having support.
