About Heartland RADAC

Heartland RADAC is located in Kansas City, Kansas. This is a drug recovery agency that provides a range of services to adults and individuals involved in the criminal justice system. They provide support if you’re looking for services to treat your drug, alcohol, or substance use disorder. Their services are designed to match you with appropriate treatments in your community. In doing so, you'll get referred to an organization or agency that will provide the treatment you need. Their assessments and services are also offered virtually.

Some of the supports you'll have access to include alcohol and drug assessments. These assessments will determine if you're experiencing a substance use disorder. If one is identified, you'll be matched and referred to the different services in the community that can support you.

There's also case management offered here. Through case management, you'll work with a multidisciplinary team that will help you identify your strengths so that you can pursue an independent lifestyle. You’ll also work with your care coordinator to plan out different recovery goals you may have. A plan of action will be created to help you meet these goals.

Some of these case management services are court mandated while others may be obtained voluntarily. I appreciate that they work with the Department of Corrections to help formerly incarcerated individuals who are at risk for substance use struggles or are facing those struggles. Through their re-entry care coordination, these individuals can be positioned for success as they reintegrate back into society

Other supports you'll find here include recovery coaching and treatment. This will empower you with different life skills that can help support you on your pasture recovery.
