About Connections Counseling
Connection Counseling is a partner location of Rosecrance Therapies. It is part of a behavioral group located in Madison, Wisconsin. Outpatient counseling is provided to adolescents and adults with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
Wisconsin Medicaid is accepted. If you do not have insurance then you can make monthly payments via credit cards, checks, cash, and money orders.
What stands out to me is that college students between the ages of 18-20 years old can receive preventative services. You may be referred by the court system, attorney, or another referral service. This program is for underage college students who have been identified as alcohol and/or cannabis users. To provide you with information in a non-judgemental, empathic way, they use motivational interviewing techniques.
They also offer intensive outpatient treatment. The program consists of both individual and group therapy. You do have to attend group therapy nine hours per week for eight to ten weeks. There is a step down option. With that option, you attend group therapy five hours per week for four weeks.
There is also a community court-based court service. This is for individuals with a non violent offense that need help with mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders.
