About Cathedral Home

Cathedral Home Services For Youth and Families in Laramie, Wyoming provides behavioral and dual-diagnosis mental health care to children, adults, and families. Its levels of care include residential inpatient and crisis intervention services, as well as telehealth options.

Cathedral Home’s residential inpatient program is only available to 12-18-year-olds and is by no means a specifically targeted substance abuse program. However, you will have access to substance use prevention care should you need it, alongside individual, group, and family therapy. A more unique element of their clinical therapy services is their equine-assisted psychotherapy.

Social skills and educational services are also provided to keep you on track, both academically and socially. Wellness checks, psychiatric, dental, and routine medical care are also provided offsite. At their residential campus, you’ll be provided with classroom assignments that help improve your existing skills and discover new hobbies and passions.

Many former clients look back fondly on their time at Cathedral Home, with a few pointing out that though hard, their experience there has made them a better person overall.

Cathedral Home is a nonprofit supported by donors. Should you need further intensive care, you can be referred to other local facilities.
