About Zinnia Healing in Indiana

In South Bend, Indiana, Zinnia Healing offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehab for adults. This is a fully furnished facility with private and home-like rooms. This is a co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorder treatment program. If needed ,you’ll go through a medical detox first. Then, you’ll meet with a psychiatrist to determine if medication is needed or will be adjusted. Medication assisted treatment may be used moving forward.

This inpatient program consists of group and individual therapy. During this time you’ll also experience 12 Step meetings and art and music activities. All therapy approaches here are trauma informed and you’ll participate in cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy. Sessions will teach you relapse prevention, stress management, and mindfulness.

What I also like about Zinnia Healing is that they approach addiction from a holistic point of view. This can look like engaging in yoga, meditation, and breathwork. You’ll go on sober weekend outings with other residents to make sure you find sober joy.

Group therapy will be different every day. You may engage in psychoeducational groups or skills development groups. They also offer interpersonal process groups and problem solving groups. Your family will be offered support and be asked to be involved with your treatment.

You should plan to stay at the facility for between 30 and 90 days. You’ll receive intensive 24 hour medical care. When you’re ready to move on, Zinnia Healing can connect you to sober housing and alumni support groups. Your case manager will help you if you need other resources like housing and insurance help.

Former clients of Zinnia rave about how wonderful the program is. Some people say the program saved their life. Another person said they have loving and caring personnel. They said they couldn’t believe how much they grew in 30 days.
