About YFA Connections

Located in Spokane, Washington, YFA Connections offers an outpatient treatment program for adults living with addiction and co-existing mental health problems. They treat adults and those with co-occurring conditions.

They follow the STEPPS approach to treatment. STEPPs stands for System Training for Emotional Predictability and Problem Solving. It focuses on emotional regulation training that helps you understand your emotions and learn new skills to express your emotions in a healthy way. Clients will become better in control of themselves when it comes to substance use and harmful behaviors.

Clients work individually with a counselor to plan their course of treatment, creating a personalized treatment plan that takes into account their unique situation and recovery goals. Through individual, group, and family counseling, clients develop healthy support systems.
