West Grace Health Center

West Grace Health Center is the administrative location for Daily Planet Health Services and provides several mental and physical health services in the Richmond, Virginia, community. West Grace offers primary care, behavioral health, medication assisted treatment (MAT), case management and a pharmacy at this location.

Outpatient Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Treatment

The behavioral health clinics provide mental health counseling to address psychological and substance use disorders. The outpatient clinic operates Monday through Friday during common business hours. 

I like that they offer walk in screenings for adults during the week and will connect you with services to address your needs. You can register in person or over the phone.

Careful Medication Assisted Treatment

After your initial screening, psychiatry appointments are available. However, before receiving medication, you must complete your initial screening and see a psychiatrist. This typically cannot happen on the same day. 

I like that they offer MAT for individuals addicted to opioids to reduce cravings and the risk of relapse. Before beginning MAT, you must complete the registration form and bring the appropriate documentation to your first visit.

Treatment for Children and Families

I like that they offer behavioral health services for children five and up, allowing them to talk about their feelings, use play therapy and receive psychiatric services when needed. This helps families overcome the anxiety and trauma associated with substance use disorders. 

Families can access local parks and green spaces between appointments or walk through the Grace Commercial Historic District located nearby.
