Serving both Frederick and Washington counties, Wells House is an evidence based behavioral health provider that has been improving the quality of lives of those often underserved. Wells House at 608 East Patrick Street (Wells House @ Gale Recovery) joined the Wells team in 2015, moved into new treatment facilities, and marked 40 years of substance use treatment in the community. The Frederick location provides behavioral health treatment services, residential addiction treatment, individual and group counseling, family therapy, peer support meetings, education and skills building, workplace assistance, case management, and support in removing any barriers to living a life free of drugs and alcohol. Residents are also supported in completing their GED education if they haven’t already.
