About Community Health Pavilion Shadeland

Community Health Pavilion Shadeland is a medical facility that provides outpatient treatment for substance use disorder in Indianapolis, Indiana. Staff members available to assist you include psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses and other mental health professionals.

One thing I noticed about this facility is that they specialize in providing treatment for co-occurring disorders. Your care will focus on healing both your substance use disorder and your mental illness. You can receive this treatment through traditional outpatient care, the intensive outpatient program, or the partial hospitalization program.

The partial hospitalization program is the highest level of care which requires you to spend an extensive amount of time in treatment. It’s ideal for clients who have intense depression or anxiety disorders. Community Health Network also provides specialized outpatient services for individuals with schizophrenia or other mood disorders that limit an individual’s ability to function.

You’ll likely participate in various group sessions covering topics ranging from developing coping skills to improving your communication. Medication management and psychiatric consultation will be provided.

When you’ve made a certain amount of progress in your treatment, the staff will downgrade you to the intensive outpatient program. The intensive outpatient program will be similar but require fewer hours and days spent at the facility. I like that they also provide treatment services for individuals struggling with gambling addiction. Outpatient services are available for adolescents struggling with substance abuse and other issues such as anger management and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the White River State Park are just a few of the fun things you can enjoy in town. There are also lots of historical places such as the Soldiers & Sailors Monument and the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site.

Indiana outpatient rehab focuses on providing tools necessary to stay sober. This involves several weekly counseling sessions and involvement in at least one support group, such as NA or AA, for several weeks or months. During that time, you’ll learn how to replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones and prevent relapse.

Dual diagnosis in Indiana treats co-occurring disorders, meaning it addresses both your mental health and recovery needs. A multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and addiction experts work together to ensure all aspects of your mental and physical health are treated.
