About Valley Hope of Moundridge
Out in the Wheat State, Valley Hope provides substance abuse treatment for adults, families, and veterans. They offer residential (IP) care with onsite medical detox. There’s also several outpatient (OP) options. If you can't make it in person, contact ‘em via telehealth. You'll find 'em located in Moundridge, Kansas.
When you sign up, your detox usually starts with medication assisted treatment (MAT). This is available to help reduce withdrawal symptoms and cravings. They use FDA-approved prescriptions that provide comfort during recovery. You'll be supervised 24/7 and offered medical care to ensure your safety.
Along with MAT, you’ll also work through your dependency with counseling. Individual therapy sessions consist of one-on-one time with a counselor experienced in addiction care. Group therapy allows you to share your experiences with others. You can reduce feelings of isolation and give and receive valuable feedback from your peers.
Your unique treatment plan can also focus on spiritual recovery. They have chaplins and other ordained officials to assist in prayer meetings, Bible studies, and building up self-esteem and confidence. You’ll have a cohesive team working on your behalf to help you recover with long-term sobriety.
Aftercare is available with their discharge planning service. Before leaving treatment, you’ll have a specific plan to continue your recovery, which may include ongoing counseling and 12 Step sessions like AA or NA. The team will assist with returning to your job, and they offer family care education to help loved ones create a support network conducive to your sobriety.
Recreational activities are included in the program as an outlet and to provide relaxation and enjoyment during treatment. You can play basketball and volleyball or just enjoy nature walks. You'll become fit and find healthier hobbies to help cope with stress.
They also offer treatment specific to veterans’ unique needs. They'll coordinate with the VA to develop a program that can address any PTSD or other issues that military personnel may face.
They're accredited by The Joint Commission. The staff will also work with many insurance providers like Blue Cross/Blue Shield and TRICARE. Check 'em out to make sure they're a good fit for you.
