Memphis is a great place to begin your recovery journey. A culturally diverse city with lots to see and do, you’ll be surrounded by resources that can support your long-term sobriety. Local attractions include parks, music halls, museums, a zoo, historic sites, botanical gardens, stadiums, and restaurants.
This program was established in 1989 and is identified as a non-profit organization. Originally, the team began providing counseling and supportive services through outpatient care. They now have five locations within the Memphis area.
The treatment center’s job readiness training program will help you create or update your resume, prepare you for interviews, assist in job searching and allow you to develop skills to get a job. They will also help you develop problem-solving skills and teach you how to interact with co-workers and supervisors. This can equip you to gain financial independence and gain steady income, creating more manageability in your day-to-day life.
They offer spiritual support as well. This can strengthen your faith and connect you to a higher power. Spiritual support can include worship, Sunday services, faith-based counseling, and support groups.
During the duration of your stay, they have educational support services to help you attain your GED, high school diploma, or continuing education. They can also help you connect to vocational schooling and training.
Upon completion of residential treatment, they have supportive housing and apartments that can be an option. This can help you stay engaged and continue moving forward in a safe setting that won't jeopardize your recovery.
