About Tony Rice Center
The Tony Rice Center provides long-term residential and outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation for men in suburban Shelbyville, Tennessee. It is a nonprofit that also helps with co-occurring mental health conditions.
They provide a substance-free setting where you can focus on healing while learning new skills. They don’t only treat the addiction symptoms, but they provide assistance for your emotional, spiritual, social, and occupational needs, too. You’ll attend lectures and 12 Step meetings along with daily living skills programs to learn responsibility, accountability, and humility. They will provide the necessary tools to help you live a sober lifestyle after treatment.
You may attend workshops and programs regarding civic, education, and employment skills. The staff will consult with your family and friends and help them learn how to address any drug- related issues and create a supportive network for sobriety.
The Tony Rice Center provides aftercare with monthly meetings for all program graduates. You’ll have a continuing care plan where you set and meet goals with the help of a counselor. You can also attend group meetings where you discuss continued obstacles after treatment and methods of successful sobriety.
The counselors on staff can refer you to outside agencies and sources for continued recovery care. They may help with housing, counseling, and legal services through their community partnerships.
They offer PRIME, a DUI school for guests of any age. It addresses risky behaviors and works to reduce impaired driving violations. As of this writing, the alcohol and drug assessment costs $100, and the DUI school is $140. They accept cash or money orders for school.
