About Therapeutic Health Services Kent Branch

Therapeutic Health Services provides a drug court program for substance abuse and treatment for mental health conditions in Kent, Washington. They aim to offer comprehensive, compassionate care with a staff experienced in addiction needs.

It’s a unique service because it provides an atmosphere conducive to recovery rather than a court system. You’ll have a team of case managers, attorneys, judges, and staff who all help you toward the goal of sobriety. This program can offer you a chance to get help rather than moving forward with a trial.

Rigorous counseling sessions include individual and group meetings. The program is strict, and there are rules to follow while attending. It can take up to two years to complete the program and get the needed help for a sober lifestyle. Sober support meetings are held weekly, and you must complete community service. A judge will review your monthly progress.

You must remain employed or attend school while in the program and random drug tests are required no less than twice per week. During treatment, you’ll address potential addiction causes, substance use triggers, behavior patterns affecting drug use and work on relapse prevention skills. The program is aimed at helping you develop long-term sobriety and breaking the substance abuse cycle.
