Thriveworks offers a three-step program to provide solutions to your addiction needs. It starts with identifying the underlying root cause for your addictions. The second step is developing healthy coping skills and life skills for learning how to handle difficult and challenging situations. Lastly, they provide you with a relapse prevention plan so that you can safely continue on your journey to sobriety.

EMDR, Humanistic Therapy and Other Unique Therapies

Their comprehensive approach to substance abuse recovery includes acceptance and commitment therapy, as well as other unique therapies like EMDR, EFT and humanistic therapy. I was intrigued to learn that they not only offer traditional therapy approaches but also some of the aforementioned cutting edge techniques which provide a new angle of therapy and treatment.

Thriveworks accepts most insurance plans as well as Medicare and they can also help if you have an out of network private insurance provider. However, I was disappointed to learn that they do not appear to accept self pay options or Medicaid.
