About The Simmering Center

The Simmering Center is a sober living home in Branson, Missouri. It’s now part of the New Beginning Sanctuary program. They accept incarcerated individuals as well. Their home gives you a safe, structured place to stay while you continue working on your recovery.

You’ll be expected to follow house rules. This keeps the home running, but doing so also teaches you accountability and responsibility. As you make recovery progress, you’ll be able to reconnect with family and friends.

What I like about them is that you’ll have access to phones, computers and the internet. This is useful for looking for work, applying for jobs, and keeping in touch with loved ones. It’s also part of preparing to reintegrate into the community.
