About The Freedom Center
The Freedom Center’s outpatient clinic is in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It provides comprehensive care that focuses on discovering the underlying causes of addiction behaviors and addressing individual needs. I love the flexibility of their outpatient programs. They offer flexible classes and evening and weekend sessions so clients can balance work and family commitments with addiction treatment.
Outpatient treatment is available in three intensity levels. These are partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. The level depends on your individual needs. But wherever you begin, you can expect a smooth transition thanks to a continuum of care and peer support.
Treatment is tailored to the individual and usually includes a combination of evidence based practices including addiction education, individual, group, and family counseling, and cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies. Medication management is also provided if you’ve got a dual diagnosis. This means that you may receive prescription medications to manage the symptoms of joint mental health disorders like anxiety or depression.
They also offer a great variety of holistic therapies to support your overall spiritual and mental well-being. This includes yoga, mindfulness, experiential therapy, chiropractic and massage therapies, and nutrition and exercise education.
