About Northpoint Seattle

In Seattle, Washington, Northpoint is an outpatient addiction treatment and mental health center. Adults and adolescents can choose from attending a partial hospitalization program, an intensive outpatient program, or a traditional outpatient program. An alumni program will keep you engaged after you finish your treatment program through virtual connections, support meetings, and fun sober events.

All programs at Northpoint Seattle require you to attend treatment during the day or evenings but live at home. The highest level of care is the partial hospitalization program and it may be a good option for step down after inpatient treatment. During these daily sessions, you’ll engage in group and individual therapy, life skills development, and recreational activities.

The intensive outpatient program includes between 9-20 hours of treatment activities per week. The IOP generally lasts for 12 weeks. In this program, you’ll engage in group therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. You’ll also get a schedule that will include exercise, nutrition, and mindfulness. Instead of only focusing on your addiction, they’ll help you focus on your total well-being.

The traditional outpatient program has six hours of treatment activities per week. This is the lowest intensity treatment program and will have a combination of group and individual counseling sessions. They’ll also provide psychiatric support and family therapy sessions.

During all levels of care, medication assisted therapy (MAT) is an option to help you withdraw from substances and decrease uncomfortable drug cravings.

A previous client says that they experienced great support from peers and faculty. Another person said Northpoint Seattle is a wonderful place to start your sobriety journey.
