About The Crossroads Program

The Crossroads Program is located in Kansas City, Missouri. The center is an alcohol and drug treatment center. They specialize in treating teens and young adults with substance abuse and addiction problems.

The intensive outpatient program is age specific and uses an enthusiastic approach. The ages for treatment are 13-25 years old. The groups are separated into teens who are 13-25 years old and young adults who are 18-25 years old.

I like that everyone will have their own individualized treatment plan. During your individual counseling sessions, you will develop your own treatment, aftercare and discharge plan. The length of the program will vary between 6-12 weeks. You will attend four hour sessions, five days per week.

Aside from individual counseling, you will also attend group and family counseling. You attend three support groups and two sober social events per week. Attendance in two parent support meetings will also be required weekly. Once treatment has been completed, you will more to your aftercare program that will be eight weeks in length.
