About The Bridge Nebraska

Located in Lincoln, Nebraska, The Bridge Behavioral Health is a nationally accredited drug and alcohol addiction treatment center. Offering mental health evaluations, medically monitored detox, intensive outpatient treatment, residential treatment, counseling, crisis stabilization, respite care, partial hospitalization, continuing care, recovery support groups, community resources, and referrals. Specialist programs for criminal justice assessments and in-jail evaluations.

The Bridge Behavioral Health has been providing behavioral healthcare and addiction treatment since 1984. Its team of expert clinicians is an integral part of Nebraska’s community mental health. Their trauma informed and evidence based treatment is offered to men over 19 on an inpatient basis for 30 days to 10 months. The Bridge’s Clinical team will determine the most appropriate level of care following a comprehensive mental health assessment. Each resident will take part in the structured drug rehab program which includes individual and group therapy, family counseling, skill development, peer support, and discharge planning. Evidence based therapies include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. When graduating, each patient will receive a comprehensive continuing care and discharge plan.

Respite care is also offered by The Bridge Behavioral Health for people who need a break from their treatment, or for those waiting for treatment. Care is available for up to seven days and is open to men and women over the age of 19.

The Bridge Behavioral Health is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and the Community Services Fund of Nebraska. Federal and state grants provide over half the funding for the Bridge’s services. Medicaid, commercial insurance plans, and private pay accepted. Other payment options, including sliding scale payment assistance, financing, and payment plans are also available.
