About Standing Strong

Standing Strong is a nonprofit organization that provides various drug rehab programs in Baltimore, Maryland. They offer different levels of care including low intensity residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and general outpatient. You can also get outpatient mental health care and DUI / DWI services at this clinic. Standing Strong works with clients who receive Medicaid only.

Their residential treatment includes day and night supervision and at least five hours of therapeutic activities. You might participate in individual and group counseling sessions as well as support groups. When you're ready, you can step down into partial hospitalization treatment. This way you'll be able to live at home but keep lots of structure and support in your daily schedule.

Mental health treatment at Standing Strong can be used to help you with depression, mood disorders, trauma and other mental health needs. They provide individual, group and family formats as well as medication management and referrals where needed. I think that it's great that they offer transportation for intake clients who live within 15 miles of the facility.
