About Sound
Serving residents of all ages throughout King County is Sound Counseling Services in Auburn, Washington. Sound is a counseling facility that will provide you with appropriate evidence-backed services to navigate struggles with your mental health including co-occurring substance use struggles. Care is offered in an outpatient setting here. If you need more flexible support then telehealth appointments are also available.
Sound is not your traditional counseling facility. While you will work with licensed therapists who have experience working with individuals who have mental health struggles and those with addiction, you’ll receive so much more support than just traditional counseling.
The intent behind the care you’ll find at Sound is to help individuals who would otherwise fall through the cracks of traditional care.
The services at Sound are recovery-focused and designed to meet you where you are in your behavioral health journey. Offering support for a variety of disorders and struggles, Sound is prepared to help you if you have not found success with other counseling and treatment facilities.
One aspect of their program that I appreciate is their ability to help individuals who have complex mental or medical health struggles such as schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
They also provide gender-affirming care and will support you if you’ve experienced mental health challenges or have experimented with drugs as a way to manage the stress of your transition.
The care here is compassionate and rooted in helping you achieve a life of health and wellness. There is also culturally competent and inclusive support. If you have struggled with domestic violence, sexual abuse, and other circumstances that have negatively impacted your life then there is trauma focused care that will help you on your path to healing.
