About Sound
Sound Mental Health Stillwater House is a residential facility located in Redmond, Washington. Stillwater is a 16-bed assisted living facility that acts as a transitional space supporting adults with more chronic conditions until they find more intensive care facilities. It is part of the greater Sound network which offers a range of mental health services across Washington State including intensive substance use disorder (SUD) treatment at its other locations.
SUD Treatment in Redmond
While the Stillwater House isn’t designed for SUD care, there are other facilities including an alternate Redmond clinic within the Sound network that do provide recovery services. This includes Sound Opiate Use Recovery Center (SOURCE), medication assisted treatment (MAT) for alcohol use disorders (AUD), along with outpatient and intensive outpatient services.
Detox Safely with Sound
Their SOURCE program is specifically designed to reduce barriers to recovery by providing a safe detox environment for people struggling with opioid addiction. I like that after completing the SOURCE program, people are then shifted to outpatient SUD treatment to maintain sobriety through counseling and dual diagnosis support if needed.
Support Programs
Along with providing physical and mental health care when you need it, I like that Sound also provides vocational support thanks to its specialized employment program. There’s also specialized support for anyone facing court-related penalties.
