About Sojourner Recovery Services

Sojourner Recovery Services Main Office Hamilton offers addiction treatment and mental health services in Hamilton, Ohio. The organization has been licensed by The Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. They are CARF accredited as well.

Before beginning treatment, you’ll undergo an assessment. The assessment is done in order to determine what your individual needs and goals are. You will then work with their staff to develop your personalized treatment plan. You will be able to develop your plan via telehealth or in person. Once the appropriate level of care is determined you’re able to attend either residential treatment or outpatient treatment.

They offer two levels of residential treatment. They have a high and low intensity program. The high intensity level is highly structured. You will receive intensive treatment through counseling via individual, group and family sessions. The low intensity level still offers a safe environment with staff available round the clock. However, this level lets you work on employment, reengaging with the community, and other life goals.

Their residential treatment program includes withdrawal management services. In order to help ease your withdrawal symptoms and cravings, they are able to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT).

Their outpatient treatment program also provides two levels. They offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) which requires 20 hours of weekly treatment. This program is wonderful if you are stepping down from residential treatment. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) will require you to attend sessions 10 hours per week.

Both outpatient programs provide a combination of individual and group therapy sessions. I like that they have flexible scheduling with morning, afternoon and evening sessions available. You also have access to case managers and peer recovery support. Plus, they have onsite childcare available.
