About Set Free NW Chehalis
Set Free NW is a Christ-centered substance use treatment and recovery program for adults in Chehalis, Washington. It’s in a quiet corner outside of town. They offer hope and healing to those seeking freedom from addiction through long term residential care.
This program is purely faith based. Residents are taught to let go of destructive patterns of unhealthy behavior and focus on God for holistic healing. Regardless, the program is open to both believers and unbelievers. Anyone who’s genuinely committed to turning a new life free from drug or alcohol use can benefit.
Once you’re accepted into the program you’ll undergo a 30 day blackout period. During this period you’ll begin to gradually break free from old and unhealthy habits so that healing can take place. You’ll follow a regular schedule that includes work at the facility, Bible studies and spiritual or emotional mentoring. This lets you open up to physical, emotional and spiritual healing.
You'll be moved to the basic training phase upon completing the blackout period. This phase lasts 90 days. You’ll learn to follow a structured daily routine that helps you build biblical qualities and set healthy boundaries. They’ll also teach you how to live a rewarding life through a balance of spiritual study, self discipline and personal accountability. These are essential for smooth reentry into the community.
You’re expected to take what you’ve learned and make it part of your daily life. Most importantly, they encourage you to make Jesus the Lord and compass of your life. Once you show you can live by the principles you’ve learned, they’ll help you find a job or vocational training. This helps you start rebuilding your life as a productive member of your community and a valuable part of your family.
You can live onsite for up to two years. This enables you to master independent living and maintain a sober lifestyle. It also grants you time to acquire more skills like financial independence by debt reduction and saving for the future. These can be super helpful as you reenter the community.
