About Seattle Sober Living
Seattle Sober Living provides residential substance abuse support in Seattle, Washington. Residents at their Capitol Hill Men’s Home will live in fully furnished homes that have a welcoming and comfortable environment. You’ll have a private room and the structure needed to continue your recovery.
The staff understand that addiction can often be isolating. They want you to know that you are not alone. At Seattle Sober Living, you’ll have a supportive setting where connection to others is emphasized and encouraged. This can be with the counselors or your peers.
The live-in staff offers more accountability and communication. They can be accessed at any time during the day. There's also a strict routine to give you guidance. You’ll have specific wake-up times and curfews. Your schedule will also have random drug and alcohol testing, daily check-ins, required meeting attendance, and optional weekly family communications.
They have potential mentoring programs available. These offer a fast track during your first months of recovery with a more personalized approach to support. It includes setting goals, grocery shopping, and looking for work. You'll gain independence, but you'll also learn to work with others and not be afraid to ask for help.
Transitional service is included in the program to help you with ongoing recovery support. All homes have utilities and fully equipped kitchens. There are common household appliances so you'll feel at home. You’ll enjoy amenities like movie nights, game nights, a gym, outside activities, cable television, and Wi-Fi.
