About SaVida Health South Burlington
SaVida Health’s South Burlington clinic was formerly known as SaVida Health Colchester. The facility is located in South Burlington, Vermont.
Adults are able to receive outpatient (OP) treatment and medication assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. Along with Medicare and Medicaid, most commercial insurances are accepted.
I like that they have a holistic approach to recovery. With a holistic approach they can address the physical, emotional and social aspects of your addiction. They also offer case management, ongoing recovery assistance and counseling.
They believe that counseling is a fundamental part of recovery. Therefore, counseling is incorporated in all treatments.
What stood out to me is that they are able to provide same day and next day appointments. You will have to take an assessment so that the staff can develop your treatment plan. Your treatment plan will be individualized based on your specific needs and goals.
Peer recovery coaching is available. What I like about peer recovery coaching is that they are also in long term recovery. These individuals have been in your place. Therefore, you are able to relate to them. They provide encouragement, support and guide you to achieve your goals and long term recovery.
Medication assisted treatment is available in the form of Suboxone and buprenorphine. These medications help in alleviating withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. That way, you’ll have less of a chance of relapsing.
They also have Narcan and other harm reduction supplies available. If you’re a recipient of Narcan, they highly suggest that you receive follow up care.
