About Sana Lake Recovery Center
Sana Lake Recovery has a facility located in Dittmer, Missouri. They offer a full continuum of care for adults who are battling substance use disorders. The organization is accredited by CARF.
The facility is on the lakeside on 55 acres. You’ll be able to relax and have privacy while receiving residential treatment for drug misuse. They accept most major insurance plans.
I like all the amenities that they have to offer you. On property, they have a fitness center with gym equipment. There is also a medical center and a wellness center. They have a lake dock and a fire pit. I also like that they also have a space where you are able to do yoga and meditate. If you want to be a little bit more active, they have volleyball and basketball courts.
I do like that their therapy sessions are held in a separate building. There is even a private therapy office.
If you’re in acute withdrawal, you will begin your treatment in their detox unit. Depending on the type of substance you use and the severity, you can be in detox for between three to 10 days. They have medical professionals who will monitor you round the clock and make sure that you are comfortable and safe. Once you are physically better, you will begin residential treatment.
You’ll have a daily schedule that will provide you with structure. Your schedule will include therapy sessions, wellness practices, group meetings and leisure time. You will be able to decide if you would like your family involved in your treatment. Most people stay an average of 30 days before moving on to a lower level of care.
The next level of care would be their partial hospitalization program. You will attend therapy sessions most days for several hours. Depending on your needs and progress, the length of this program is 15-25 days.
The intensive outpatient program will be the next step down level of care. You are going to have support and structured care. You’ll attend your sessions for a total of nine hours per week. Once you’re able to integrate back into the real world and apply what you have learned in treatment, you can attend their standard outpatient program. This program has virtual options and you have therapy one hour per week.
