Individuals who are in the process of recovering but still need assistance to live independently in the community are given access to case management services. In order to enhance each person’s quality of life, case managers offer connections to neighborhood resources.
In collaboration with Tuscaloosa County’s Second Chance program, they offer intensive and general outpatient treatment in drug court programs. There are two programs offering afternoon sessions for outpatient care and evening sessions for intensive outpatient clients. Along with judicial officials and case managers, the therapists assigned to these caseloads are also part of the court staff.
For some medications, they provide patient assistance. These programs are offered to those who cannot afford to buy meds to ease their cravings. To assist patients in navigating the process, they have specially trained staff members. In addition, they provide telehealth and virtual visits.
Medicaid, Medicare, and other commercial insurances are among the many insurances they accept. For individuals without insurance, they provide a sliding fee schedule based on income.
