About ReDiscover – Catherine’s Place

ReDiscover – Catherine's Place is a transitional housing program in Kansas City, Missouri serving women in recovery from substance use disorders. The facility provides up to six months of stable housing combined with intensive day treatment, on-site childcare, and comprehensive support services designed to help mothers achieve sobriety and self-sufficiency.

Transitional Housing with Catherine's Place

Catherine's Place provides transitional residential housing for up to six months, typically following an initial 28 to 90 day stay at Friendship House, the adjacent short-term facility.

Residents participate in intensive outpatient and day treatment services at ReDiscover's Woodland location. They receive comprehensive assessment, individual and group therapy, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and case management.

Who can get help here?

The program serves women only, with a specialized focus on mothers with children—children are welcome to stay with their mothers during treatment.

Catherine's Place also specializes in treating pregnant and postpartum women, individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, and survivors of trauma, sexual abuse or intimate partner violence.
