About Providence Recovery Place Addiction Care for Women and Men

Province Recovery Place by Providence Ministries provides adults with affordable addiction recovery in Dalton, Georgia. This center features shelter for up to a total of 12 homeless women and kids. The organization is LegitScript certified. Although they are open seven days per week, the weekend sessions are appointment based.

The Providence Women’s Recovery campus has 25 acres. The campus is about 90 minutes north of Atlanta and a half hour south of Chattanooga. It’s near the local Walmart Supercenter, a fitness center, local take-out restaurants and sit down restaurants.

The programs they offer are faith based and affordable. To obtain admissions into their program, you must call and speak to their intake coordinator to schedule your phone interview. If it’s determined during the phone interview that you’re a good fit for the program, you’ll be required to get bloodwork. They’ll discuss what they are looking for during or after your phone interview.

You will need to pay for your stay as a contribution. You are able to pay your contribution in full, at the time of admissions. If you are unable to pay in full, then you are allowed to pay half at admissions and your remaining balance within 60 days.

I like that you’ll be able to focus on your recovery and healing, as well as your relationship with God. Their in house addiction care is about 180 days in length. The services provided use clinical methods but with Christian guidance, and you’re required to go to church. They also require you to look for work to stay in the program.

They also have a thrift store at this location. You are able to buy and/or donate clothing, furniture etc. All the proceeds rendered are placed back into the programs they offer, which includes their master’s camp recovery program for men in Tennessee and shelter that is provided for homeless individuals.
