This residential program caters to folks with dual diagnosis who are at a higher risk of crisis or have slower progression. Folks with recurring episodes of illness or relapse tied to dual diagnosis can benefit as well. It involves a set schedule of professional services available around the clock and seven days a week. You’ll attend counseling sessions, relapse prevention classes and 12 Step recovery meetings like AA or NA.
You’ll also receive mental health education and anger management training. Spiritual and cultural recovery activities are an essential component of this program as well. Incorporating cultural practices and traditions that reflect your heritage into your treatment can help you find meaning, reconnect with your identity and build a sense of belonging.
Spiritual activities promote emotional healing and help you connect to a higher being. This can provide inner strength, comfort and a sense of purpose.
The program also involves medication management, motivational enhancement techniques and trauma informed therapy. The beauty of it all is that you’re actively involved in planning and making decisions about your recovery and care. The clinical team considers your strengths, preferences and needs when creating your recovery plan regardless of your symptoms.
