About Pioneer Center East
Pioneer Center East is a residential substance addiction treatment center in Spokane, Washington. They provide care for men 18 and older who need intensive services.
The center has 53 beds and serves persons who highly need structure and security. Treatment includes basic living skills, learning about nutrition and health, and recreation and recovery classes. There are various group sessions, like anger management classes and process groups. They use motivational programming and MRT to focus on changing lifestyle behaviors to those more conducive to sobriety.
Medication assisted treatment and psychiatric medication management can help with withdrawal symptoms and make you more comfortable during recovery. These meds are used in combination with counseling so you and the other guys can learn healthy coping skills and relapse prevention techniques.
All guests attend discharge preparation group sessions and community transition planning. These can be effective for returning to regular activities without the use of substances. They accept Medicaid, Washington State Apple Health, and self-pay. They do not accept private insurance at this time.
