Different from other recovery residencies, Phoenix Recovery has a structured approach to recovery. Called the Phoenix Phase Program, each resident entering the sober living home must participate in the four phases, which is a cognitive behavioral therapy approach to sobriety. The system aims to reduce self defeating beliefs and behaviors, enhance moral reasoning, reframe thinking, improve awareness, and create a more optimistic outlook. All participants must adhere to house rules, which include maintaining their sobriety, attending house meetings, and doing a share of household chores.
