About PEP – Hopewell Day Treatment Center

As one of PEP’s five therapeutic day program schools, Hopewell is located in Cleveland, Ohio. Hopewell exists to help children with severe mental health and behavior concerns develop skills so they can heal and thrive in school and home settings. While this program doesn’t state that it addresses substance abuse, it can refer you to the partnered OhioRISE program for targeted care and support.

Something I adore about this program is that it bills the child’s school, not the parent, reducing financial stress on your family.

High Academic and Developmental Standards

Hopewell and its sister programs are dual pronged; in addition to addressing your child’s behavioral needs, they aim to keep them on track with their peers in education. I like that the school curriculum meets the standards established by the state, but is designed in such a way that it can be adjusted to meet each child’s needs. The program allows children to make progress in their personal well being without losing ground in their school work.

Connecting with OhioRISE

If your child is having difficulties in school, the OhioRISE program is another option you may want to pursue. In addition to including substance abuse in its scope, staff here are equipped to help kids involved in the juvenile court system.

Addiction Treatment Programs

Adult Program Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Adult Program

Tailored for men and women over the age of 18, each adult program in Ohio incorporates multiple therapeutic methods to treat addiction. Various levels of care are offered, based on the needs of the individual.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Distorted, negative thought patterns can lead to negative behaviors such as substance abuse. Cognitive behavioral therapy in Ohio addresses these negative thoughts to help individuals make positive changes.
