About Pear Lake Women’s Program
The Pear Lake Women’s Program, Project Clean Start is an aftercare program that operates under the residential program, Hope House which is a recovery facility located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
As an aftercare program, Project Clean Starts works with women and mothers who have a chemical dependency. You’ll be supported with mental, financial, legal, and other social support that will help you lead the healthiest life possible.
You’ll have a strong start to life as you make the transition from residential care to life outside Hope House with Project Clean Start. Among these services, you’ll have access to in-home supportive care. This is a valuable resource especially during your first days after leaving Hope House.
You’ll also get connected to support like weekly meetings where you can discuss different skills including parenting skills, women's support groups, and child and youth support.
These meetings not only reinforce what you've learned in recovery but they’ll also connect you to a community of women you can lean on as well. This sense of community continues through the YMCA family membership where you'll have access to a variety of recreational activities.
I also value the advocacy services that you’ll be supported with too. Whether you are navigating progradation, the court system, or child protective services agencies, you’ll have guidance from experienced professionals who will empower you as you work to rebuild your life.
You’ll be supported with necessary supplies like clothing and other essentials. There's also moving expenses and transportation services if you need them. Depending on your circumstances, you'll get referred to different resources for housing, financial support, medical assistance, and others.
You're truly equipped with wraparound services that will help make the transition from residential care to independent living, smooth. Services start immediately once you leave Hope House.
