About People Acting to Help

Located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, People Acting to Help is a community focused organization that provides a range of services to men and women who’re experiencing mental health struggles or are navigating a substance use disorder.

Through this organization's drug and alcohol outpatient service, you'll be connected to comprehensive care to meet your recovery needs. If you are receiving medication assistance, your care will continue with the support of trained clinicians and psychiatrists if you require or have a medication regimen.

You'll be supported through a range of evidence based treatment options including cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. PATH assigns each client to a treatment team to assess and establish a treatment plan. Clients receive counseling individually and in groups. PATH provides case management and uses evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma behavioral therapy (TBT). By using these therapies, you’ll begin building healthy habits for lasting sobriety.

Their outpatient support program is unique in that care can be delivered through a community facility or in the comfort of your own home. All programs are tailored to meet your unique needs, empowering you to build the foundation for a sober future.
