Located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, Ouachita Behavioral Health and Wellness (OBHAW) is a community behavioral healthcare provider. OBHAW has been serving central Arkansas for over 50 years as a nonprofit dedicated to behavioral wellness and mental health. The Hot Springs location is one of five facilities. With over 50 trained behavioral health professionals, including counselors and psychiatrists, OBHAW provides individual and person centered treatment plans for a range of mental health disorders, including substance use disorder.

Following a mental health evaluation, OBHAW Hot Springs staff will determine the most appropriate treatment plan. Participants may engage in individual and group therapy, skills development groups, medication assisted treatment (MAT), and other community mental health services. Evidence based therapies used by OBHAW clinicians include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, medication assisted treatment, and motivational interviewing. These therapies and skills groups help participants to get to the root of addiction and build the skills to sustain a long term recovery.
