Olympic Personal Growth Center is an outpatient counseling center in Sequim, Washington. They specialize in addiction treatment recovery offering individual, group and family therapy. They also offer peer support and drug and alcohol assessments. The philosophy used at the Olympic Personal Growth Center is that addiction is a symptom of a larger illness. Using a therapeutic environment, they’ll help you identify the underlying cause of your addiction while you heal.

The goal of treatment is to help you reconcile with your past and empower you to embrace your future. You’ll receive a comprehensive drug and alcohol assessment which will measure the severity of your addiction. This is a one on one session lasting two hours. By the end of this initial session, you’ll have an individualized recovery treatment plan.

During group therapy you’ll connect with peers on the same journey. Groups could last between two and three hours. While involved with a group, you’ll learn how to give and receive support. You’ll engage in psychoeducation, improve your motivation and build a foundation for recovery. Individual counseling sessions will help you identify which problems and goals you want to work on. Peer support specialists are on call 24 hours a day to offer their experience and support as you move through recovery.
