About Olalla Recovery Centers Olalla Guest Lodge

Olalla Recovery Centers Olalla Guest Lodge is a live-in alcohol and drug rehab for adults in Olalla, Washington that offers recovery choices for Native Americans. You’ll stay in a homely facility in a peaceful woodland area far from city noise. With numbers kept low, you’ll find yourself part of a small community that supports each other.

They approach recovery holistically, aiming to see breakthrough in mind, body and spirit. If you are of Native American descent, you can go here to participate in healing practices and traditions such as spiritual circles, smudging ceremonies and a medicine wheel.

As men and women experience addiction challenges differently, they separate for group sessions. This allows for closer bonds to be formed as they work through issues like abuse, trauma and relapse prevention. These groups are helpful for practicing conflict resolution in a healthy, helpful way. Groups address issues such as self-esteem, guilt, domestic violence, depression and codependency.

I appreciate that they run a family program on Saturdays. Families are encouraged to take part as they learn more about substance use. They’ll be taught about the potential causes and effects of addiction and learn how they can best support their loved one. Family members can make appointments to develop a specific plan to help them and their loved ones get through treatment successfully. You’ll get informative leaflets, discussion times, links to helpful media and socio-drama during the sessions.

Many people who’ve been treated there say that this place saved their lives. Others describe the staff as amazing. A few say they wished they could go back as they loved their time there.
