About OhioGuidestone

Nicknamed “The Forest City,” Cleveland, Ohio is home to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and breathtaking nature reserves. You’ll also find Ohio’s leading behavioral and mental health agency Ohio Guidestone Cleveland there. This faith-based agency offers outpatient addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment as well as other social services for adults and children.

You can access affordable, whole-person treatment from dedicated professionals. Their eight to twelve-month intensive outpatient program provides at least ten hours of weekly interventions. You’ll learn about the connections between trauma, mental health and addiction to develop coping skills. Individual and group counseling, support groups and peer recovery are fundamental in their program.

One of the best parts is that they offer flexible in-person and virtual options to fit treatment into your daily commitments. You can also access day and evening sessions to accommodate your schedule.

For me, their additional services really caught my eye. They understand that recovery encompasses multiple life aspects like finances, housing, family relationships, education, employment and more. You’ll benefit from multiple pillars of support to address these factors, build life and social skills, and prevent relapse.

Of these services, I think their Workforce 360° program is fantastic. This track offers job training in desirable sectors like healthcare, construction, customer service, manufacturing and more. You’ll benefit from assistance with transportation, obtaining your GED or high school diploma, resume writing, childcare and anything else you need to succeed in your journey. They even connect you to over 300 potential employers and keep in touch for at least a year after completing training.

Another incredible element I noticed was their parenting coaching. They provide a coach to help you understand essential parenting skills and provide feedback on your daily parenting decisions. Your parenting coach can help strengthen your family unit and support you in emergencies.
