About Odyssey House Louisiana

Odyssey House Louisiana combines intensive outpatient treatment with a transitional living home in a residential suburb of New Orleans, Louisiana. It’s for those who’ve completed the residential program at Odyssey. Their house provides a safe, sober living environment while they continue their treatment. People typically stay there for as long as treatment lasts. This can be between three and six months.

Those who stay there take part in an intensive outpatient program that teaches them life skills. They work on job readiness and skills for sober living. They also build a supportive sober living community.

While they might not be a good recovery fit for everybody, many people say the staff members are amazing and the program helped them recover and stay sober. They say that they work hard to be there for their patients and give them what they need to recover. Some mention problems with administration and others have expressed frustration at particular counselors.
