About Northwest Integrated Health

Northwest Integrated Health is an addiction treatment facility based in Tacoma, Washington. Support is available to adults aged 18 and older, as well as individuals already being treated using opioid medications.

Various private insurers are accepted, including the state Medicaid, Washington Apple Health. Sliding scale fees can be applied to eligible folks with low incomes.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) South of Seattle

Compared to other similar facilities, I believe this center’s MAT program is fairly robust and comprehensive. You’ll be prescribed and administered various medications depending on your needs and circumstances, while also being monitored for any adjustments, and for your safety. Access medications like Suboxone, naloxone, naltrexone and buprenorphine, along with opioid agonists like Dolophine, Methadose, and methadone.

A Holistic & Mindful Recovery

MAT here isn’t just about doling out prescriptions, with clients simultaneously provided with mental health support through specialized addiction counseling. Various methods are used, including matrix model approaches and motivational interviewing (MI).

In addition to regular therapy, I think the facility is ideally placed for clients to engage in various mindful treatment methods at local spots like the 27-acre arboretum and garden of Wright Park & W.W. Seymour Botanical Conservatory, as well as in the wooded Swan Creek Park and Point Defiance Park.
