About Northwest Human Service Center
Located in Williston, North Dakota, is in Northwest Human Service Center. This center is one of eight general community centers that operate within the North Dakota Health and Human Services agency. They started out in 1982 and provide care for adults. You'll have access to a variety of health services if you're struggling with your behavioral health, experiencing a crisis, or need treatment for a substance use struggle.
They accept most major insurance providers and have sliding scale discounts if you qualify. You won't be denied care because of an inability to pay.
This clinic is located right in the heart of Williston’s downtown and is accessible if you live in the residential neighborhoods of this small town. Recreation Park is right next door if you need to unwind during your treatment.
If you need immediate services, they have walk-in appointments where you can receive a behavioral health assessment on the same day. After this assessment, you'll either be served immediately if you have crisis symptoms. Otherwise, you'll be seen but referred to an appropriate treatment plan for your needs.
In addition to being a community based healthcare program, you'll find an integrative team that will help you on your path to health and wellness. There are social workers, licensed addiction counselors, nursing staff, and therapists. You might tap into all of their services or only select ones depending on what your health struggles are.
Along with these services, you’ll also have access to recovery education and skills development to help with your sobriety and overall well being. You’ll find more support through their vocational rehabilitation office. You’ll learn how to make stronger health choices and will be empowered through specific strategies to help you overcome triggers and prevent relapse.
