About Northeastern Center Inpatient Auburn

Northeastern Center Inpatient Auburn is a CARF accredited hospital located on Wesley Road in Auburn, Indiana. The hospital serves adults 18 and older who are experiencing behavioral health and substance use disorders. They offer crisis intervention, substance use recovery and acute psychiatric services. The hospital won’t turn any clients away based on an inability to pay. They accept Medicaid, Medicare, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and private insurance.

Inpatient Treatment in Auburn

Northeastern Center was incorporated in 1977 and now employs over 200 people. The inpatient hospital offers a wide variety of treatment services only five minutes from charming downtown Auburn.

Inpatient services include acute psychiatric and substance use recovery services. Clients begin with an assessment that determines the individual’s unique needs. Some clients will need detox before they can begin rehab. Detox includes around the clock monitoring to ensure your comfort and safety.

I think clients will like the private rooms that provide a safe and comforting physical and mental environment. During your stay, you’ll have access to nurses and psychiatrists 24/7. You’ll set your own goals for treatment. The staff may provide interventions to help you meet those goals. Psychiatrists can manage any psychotropic medications that may be beneficial to your treatment.

The inpatient programs are highly structured. You’ll identify and work through underlying, co-occurring mental health issues during individual therapy. Clients are encouraged to include family members and significant others in therapy sessions since addiction and mental health impact the entire family.

Conveniently Located Outpatient Treatment in Indiana

I like that the outpatient substance use treatment services are so conveniently located. They’re next to the inpatient hospital. Outpatient addiction treatment is often a good next step after inpatient treatment. Some clients choose outpatient treatment if they can’t commit to an inpatient program due to work, school or family obligations.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides ongoing assessments and treatment. During the program, clients learn about the importance of a sober support system and how to build one. Counselors assist clients in learning about the disease of addiction and give them the tools they need to avoid relapse.
