About Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network
Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network Belleville is a community health clinic serving Belleville, New Jersey. Here you’ll find a range of outpatient services including peer support, integrated health care, a partial care program, substance abuse treatment and family support services. Outpatient addiction treatment is trauma informed and co-occurring in nature. While undergoing treatment you’ll receive a psychiatric evaluation and medication management.
This outpatient program is designed to help you gently detoxify from substances and participate in structured programming. Outpatient detox with crisis care and medication assisted treatment (MAT) are another possible option. Substance abuse counseling includes family, group and individual sessions. Programming follows a wellness and recovery model, which incorporates self direction and empowerment. While some treatment programs focus on admitting you are powerless, Northwest Essex incorporates values like strength based care, respect, responsibility and hope.
One thing that sets this facility apart from others is that it offers weekend and evening hours seven days a week. Additionally, specialized support services are available for veterans and armed forces personnel.
Similar to an Urgent Care medical model, Northwest Essex offers a crisis treatment service called The Living Room. This is an in person service where people can come if they are in a mental health or addiction crisis. No appointments are needed. The Living Room has timely access to counseling and provides a warm and safe environment.
Former clients report that this facility has a very nice staff and caring therapists who take the time to get to know you. They say staff were successful in helping turn their lives around.
