About Newness of Life Huntington WV

Newness of Life is a substance abuse support program. It’s a sober living home for men and women. You'll find it in Huntington, West Virginia. Newness of Life's program will show you how to build a life with self directed purpose free of drugs and alcohol.

This program is designed to last 8 to 10 months. When you sign up, you'll learn to balance the various responsibilities of life, like employment, with maintaining sobriety. You'll attend peer meetings following the 12 Step model and find a sponsor. Throughout the stay, you'll take on more responsibility and accountability as you demonstrate your commitment to making positive changes.

A sober living home isn't a treatment program. Newness of Life gives you access to physical and behavioral health professionals during your stay. I like this because they allow you to still be seen and take the initiative in your own care. These connections are there for you to use when you want them.
