About My Sisters Place
My Sisters Place (MSP), situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a residential chemical dependency recovery facility for pregnant and parenting women. The facility provides residential services and houses 22 women, and up to three of their children.
MSP provides medical and psychological support while providing access to social services. As part of holistic, family-orientated recovery treatment, MSP focuses on building independent living skills, including managing finances, home care, and cooking.
Treatments provided are person-centered, involving the client in decision-making and planning. MSP approaches recovery from a trauma-responsive viewpoint and has integrated mindfulness to reduce anxiety, promote parent-child bonding, and cultivate self-compassion.
My Sister’s Place accepts self-pay and Medicare. Referred treatments to external organizations may be covered by private health insurance plans such as Cigna, Aetna, Anthem, Bright Health, Ambetter, Magellan Health, Kaiser Permanente, and Amerigroup. It is recommended that you confirm coverage and out of network benefits with your insurer directly.
